Sharon Philip

Managing Director

Meet Sharon, Managing Director at Ixora Care. Sharon is not only a skilled nurse with a nursing degree from Charles Darwin University, but she also has valuable experience working directly with people who need support. For three years, she worked as a Mental Health Nurse, focusing on helping those with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities. Before that, while she was studying, Sharon gained hands-on experience as a Disability Support Worker, where she learned how to support individuals with diverse needs.

Sharon also has experience as an Enrolled Nurse at Howard Springs’ quarantine facility and worked at Darwin Private Hospital. Her broad experience makes her excellent at creating personalized plans that help our clients live more independently.

In her free time, Sharon enjoys nature, painting, dancing, singing, and playing the ukulele. She uses all her skills and passions to make sure the care plans she creates are suited to each client’s unique needs.

Aman Prashar

CEO

Aman Prashar, CEO of Ixora Care, brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for compassionate care to our organisation. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Aman’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to successfully launch and manage international businesses before embarking on a transformative journey in the mental health sector.

During his three years working in a mental health ward, Aman gained invaluable insights into the profound impact of compassionate care on individuals’ lives. This experience inspired him to establish Ixora Care, driven by a vision to redefine care as a partnership to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives.

Under Aman’s leadership, Ixora Care transcends traditional care provision, becoming a vibrant community where personalised support is accessible to all. His approach blends professional expertise with a heartfelt commitment to making a meaningful difference, reflecting the core values of Ixora Care. Aman’s journey from a finance professional to a care advocate underscores his unwavering dedication to revolutionising the care landscape, ensuring that each individual’s journey is celebrated and supported at every step.

HR Officer

Meet Harry, our HR Officer at Ixora Care. With a solid background in HR and a natural talent for creating a positive workplace environment, Harry plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and motivation of our team. Drawing from his experience as a former transport business owner, he brings valuable insights into staff management and payroll operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

When he’s not crafting hiring policies or overseeing payroll, Harry engages in his favourite activities, whether a spirited game of cricket, a refreshing swim, or shooting hoops on the basketball court. Harry’s friendly demeanour and dedication to creating a supportive workplace culture make him an integral part of the Ixora Care family, ensuring that our team and participants’ needs are met with care and consideration.

Gaurang Thakur

Business Development Officer

As the Business Development Officer at Ixora Care, Gaurang is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and empathetic world. His personal journey has been shaped by experiences with relatives living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), underscoring the importance of understanding and support in our communities.

Gaurang’s commitment to enhancing the lives of NDIS participants is deeply rooted in empathy and empowerment. Outside of work, he is passionate about boxing and muay Thai, which instil resilience and focus. Additionally, he finds joy and balance in hiking, embracing the peace and beauty of nature.

These personal passions enrich Gaurang’s life and keep him centred, enhancing his ability to contribute meaningfully to the mission of Ixora Care. Through work and advocacy, he is dedicated to leading a community where everyone is recognised and supported regardless of their abilities.

Nikhil

Mental Health Worker/Registered Nurse

Nikhil has joined Ixora Care as a mental health worker and registered nurse. His dedication to providing compassionate care and his extensive experience make him a valuable addition to our team

Nikhil holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Charles Darwin University. He currently works at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) as a registered nurse. Before joining RDH, Nikhil worked as a disability support worker, gaining valuable experience in supporting individuals with disabilities.
